Greetings, Townhall readers. Filbert here, dipping a toe into the bloggy waters of Townhall. I've been running an obscure little independent blog,
Medary.com, for a couple of years now (since February, 2005 in its latest incarnation).
But, seeing as how little traffic wanders my way (in part due to my underwhelming skills at self-promotion) I thought I'd look into life as a Townhall blogger.
My profile probably says it best--I'm a libertarian by temperament, a Republican by default. Over on my Medary.com blog, I've posted mostly on the war against Islamism, but have ventured into domestic politics, sports, science, space travel, and the occasional strangeness which makes life a bit more interesting.
I don't know if I'll make filbert.townhall.com my regular blogging home or not, but I'm considering it. That way I wouldn't have to worry about nasty details like software upgrades and configuration file tweaking and all that other stuff I retired to get away from.
